Teacher Training
Redding Method Teacher Training program is offered to students who complete all three Redding Method courses and pass the final for the “Colorway’s” class with a score of 85% or above. Teacher training consists of 4 classes which includes the core curriculum of Redding Method in a format designed to help students successfully teach the concepts. Once completed students will be included on Redding Method website as Certified Redding Method teachers and will be qualified to teach at fiber festivals, workshops and events.
Redding Method Certified teachers must be re-certified each year with at least 4 continuing education hours. Certified teachers are also subject to strict ethical guidelines. These guidelines will be adhered to and depending on seriousness of infraction, certification may be immediately revoked. It is Redding Methods intention to produce teachers which display a high level of integrity both towards the students, hosts, and fellow teachers. Please note, Ethical Standards and Re-certification hours may be changed at the discretion of the board.
We’re proud to announce Redding Method’s first set of Certified teachers have successfully passed admission into the Teacher Training course and will be enrolling in Teacher Training July, 2016.
