Dyeing Combed Top; Never Felt Again! Enrollment Open for Spring 2020
STARTS April 3-4 2020
1:00-4:00 pm PDT (could run longer)
BE ONE OF THE FIRST to learn how Natalie Redding (actually) dyes processed fibers such as combed top or roving; and NEVER FELT IT AGAIN. We have new and blistering fast internet where the classes are in HD and taught live and with an interactive format so you can ask questions in real time!
If you want to learn how to dye combed top or roving without felting, this is the class for you. Natalie will teach you how to execute her main method and also several other techniques so you’ll have a plethora of tools in your tool box. You’ll also learn the main principles to Redding Method, dilution techniques, how to read and understand dyes, terms such as OWG, dilution factors and more. By the end of this class you should be able to easily dye an unlimited (Natalie typically dyes about 5-10 lbs at once but you can do more or less!) amount of processed fiber WITHOUT FELTING, and you can do it in a relatively short amount of time. If you want to learn a new method which doesn’t require expensive equipment, is NOT labor intensive, and leaves you with beautifully dyed fiber, this is the class for you. we can promise, if you follow this method, you’ll never felt your processed fiber again! This class will not be offered again until 2021, so if you want to learn it, the time is NOW!
This class will blow your mind and have you wondering why no one’s ever thought of it before!
